A hot bath will definitely help you relax your tired swollen feet after a  long day.

When adding salt to the hot water, it can help flush toxins and reduce inflammation. The salted feet bath also helps as a decongestant for the lungs.

Remedy for sore throat: gargle with salt

Salt can dramatically reduce swelling in the throat, loosen mucus and also helping to flush out bad bacteria.

Dissolve a half a spoon of salt in one cup of lukewarm water and gargle every hour until you feel your throat gets better (I know- it is not pleasant , but trust me: it really helps!)

Remedy for cough: heated salt on the chest

Start be heating up two handfuls of salt in a frying pan or in the microwave. Put the salt in a thick towel ( or in a sock) and wrap it carefully so that it doesn’t spill.  Place it on the chest.

It helps by stopping the cough and relaxing the chest.
